OUR WINES
Rooted in Excellence
Our wines come from the vineyard we farm ourselves—small-scale, intentional, and deeply expressive of the land. With an average of only 100–150 cases of each bottling, these estate wines capture a pure, sumptuous reflection of our terroir.
Native yeast, minimal intervention, and a thoughtful hand in the cellar let the fruit lead. As a boutique, woman-owned winery, we craft wines with purity, balance, and grace, made to be savored and shared.
Chardonnay
2023 Estate Owl's Peak Chardonnay
The Terroir
Harvested from our estate Chardonnay vineyard planted in 2019 with Hyde-Wente and Dijon clones, located on a gently sloping, west-facing hillside with shallow loam and fractured clay soils. The estate sits in the heart of Chardonnay country. The 2023 vintage brought a long, cool growing season. Our maritime climate and extended ripening yielded concentrated fruit and vibrant natural acidity, producing a lean minerality that anchors this wine.
Élevage Process
Whole-cluster pressed, cold settled in tank for several days, then racked to barrel for fermentation. Native yeast fermentation in barrel followed by 12 months aging on lees with minimal bâtonnage. Aged in 33% new French oak sur lees to preserve the purity and character of the estate fruit.
Winemaker Notes
Crafted to reflect the Owl’s Peak vineyard block, this Chardonnay opens with notes of magnolia blossom, peach tea, and meringue brûlée over lemon custard. Bright and supple on the palate, with lemon zest, white nectarine, and a clean streak of Chablis-like minerality. The oak recedes in favor of varietal expression. The cool growing season produced a low-alcohol wine with focus and finesse.

2015 Chardonnay
The Terroir
Defined by the warm, early-ripening 2015 vintage, this Chardonnay comes from a vineyard where morning fog tempers the sun and ancient volcanic soils bring structure and elegance. The site’s natural restraint delivers fruit that’s bright, mineral-driven, and complex.
Élevage Process
Barrel-fermented in neutral and new French oak, this wine gained subtle texture from a partial malolactic fermentation and extended lees contact of nearly 24 months to develop flavors and depth. We created a perfectly cellar-aged wine, which you can try without the painstaking effort to cellar and age this on your own. The natural acidity of white wine allows it to age well.
Winemaker Notes
Aromas of beeswax, citrus peel, and crushed stone lead into a palate of green apple, roasted nuts, and lemon curd, accented by flinty minerality. Now a graceful library wine, time has added complexity, allowing the 2015 vintage to show vibrant flavors and elegant maturity.

Pinot Noir
2023 Pinot Noir
The Terroir
Sourced from a single vineyard in the Petaluma Gap AVA, this Pinot Noir captures the essence of the region’s signature fog, coastal winds, and the long, cool 2023 growing season. The result: slow, even ripening that builds layered flavor and fine phenolic maturity, hallmarks of a standout vintage.
Élevage Process
Native fermentation began after a cold soak on whole berries, encouraging natural yeast development and building texture from within. Aged in 35% new French oak, the wine gained subtle spice and structure without overpowering the fruit. Clonal selections include 667, Pommard, 114, and 777—each adding nuance to the final blend.
Winemaker Notes
Aromas of ripe plum, red currant, and lavender lead into a plush palate of black tea, vanilla custard, and hints of cinnamon and flint. There's a forest-floor earthiness, coupled with wet stones, that grounds this wine in its Sonoma Coast origin. Its natural acidity supports a graceful structure, giving freshness and length without overshadowing the delicate fruit and floral notes. Enjoy now for its youthful vibrancy, or cellar to reveal notes of dried petals, cranberry, and layered spice.

Red Blends
2018 The Chairman, Red Blend
The Terroir
This right-bank–inspired blend is anchored by our cool-climate, low-yielding, old-vine Cabernet Sauvignon, with some vines dating back to the 1940s. To this, we’ve added Merlot from the esteemed single-vineyard Wildwood Ranch, resulting in a wine of natural depth, structure, and elegant concentration.
Élevage Process
Composed of 70% Wildwood Ranch Merlot and 30% Coplan Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine was fermented with native yeasts and aged in 40% new French oak. The refined structure and poise speak to the wisdom of mature vines and the resilience they’ve developed adapting to their microclimates.

Cabernet Sauvignon
2019 Coplan Bliss Hill Cabernet Sauvignon
The Terroir
Bliss Hill sits on a gently rising slope of the estate, where afternoon sun and cool evening air shape Cabernet with quiet intensity. Low yields concentrate flavor while preserving lift, creating a wine that captures the site’s purity: dark fruit, fine structure, and a natural elegance that reflects the hillside’s calm, steady energy.
Élevage Process
Crafted in collaboration with Inconnu Wines, this single-vineyard, 100% estate Cabernet Sauvignon was made with restraint to honor its delicate 12.5% alcohol profile. Fermented with care and aged in neutral barrels, the wine developed soft tannins and refined depth while letting the fruit's purity take center stage.
Winemaker Notes
The nose opens with raspberry, cedar, and a touch of tobacco. On the palate, velvety tannins frame flavors of cassis and warm baking spice, all lifted by bright, balanced acidity. Layered and quietly powerful, this limited-production Cabernet finishes long and smooth, offering a graceful and expressive interpretation of the Bliss Hill site.

2014 Coplan Resonate Cabernet Sauvignon
The Terroir
Grown on the Coplan Vineyard in Sonoma Carneros, this Cabernet Sauvignon draws power and finesse from two blocks: a low-yielding old-vine section farmed at 1.5 tons per acre, and a younger block (14 years old at the time) offering fruit-forward intensity and structure. The vineyard’s cool microclimate, shaped by ocean fog that sweeps inland each morning, preserves natural acidity and enhances complexity.
Élevage Process
Aged for 36 months in 40% new French oak, this wine evolved slowly in barrel, gaining layers of depth and complexity. The extended aging imparts caramelized richness over the core of dark fruit, offering a rustic, old-world style that distinguishes it from typical California Cabernets.
Winemaker Notes
